Softies for Mirabel

I did it!

My first Softie for Mirabel

I just love, my little yellow bus.

Can you see the cute little bus driver in the window?
At least he smiles unlike the drivers that take my boys to school!

The license plate on the back says "U R GR8T"

For some special child at Christmas time, I hope it puts a smile on his face.

Date Night

Saturday night was date night.

Unfortunately for Brett there was little choice.

With Breaking Dawn just out at the movies, what else would "he" want to do????

First stop...... Dinner at our local curry house, buffet curry $25.00 per head and a new addition to the menu.... palak paneer, my absolute favourite, I was in curry heaven!

Worried there would be a queue a mile long we got to the cinemas an hour early to find it pretty much empty and quiet and with nothing much to do but sit around and wait..... wait...... wait!

We spotted the massage chairs down stairs and went and had a relaxing rub, dub, dub.

Brett spotted flashing lights, beeps and music of to the side and being the big boy he is, had to have a play.  With guns, steering wheels, basket balls and flashing lights all around what else is a man to do I ask you???

I was keen to have a dance and work of the curry calories I had just eaten but the machine I wanted to play wouldn't work so the only thing left for me to do was have another rub, dub, dub...... and second time round was even better.

Loved Breaking Dawn, 

we got great seats and now am counting down the months, days until the final episode.

Sunday Snippets

A lovely relaxing day.

Lots of washing and ironing and sorting through my lovely, fresh smelling op shop finds from the day before.

Working on my Softie for Mirabel, so excited, love my little yellow bus!

Off to the Toodyay Ballet School Recital with Bretts Mum, in my new op shop skirt which fitted perfectly and felt like it was made just for me.

Cleaning of the bird cages, cuddles with kitten and then a chip sandwich for dinner.

A great Sunday if you ask me!

There was 3 in the bed.......

Let me introduce you to Kitten Witten!
Don't be fooled,
This old girl is definitely no kitten....
She is one classy mamma, around 17 years young,
spritely when the mood takes her,
demanding and cranky cause she can!
And this is whom I share my side of the bed with.....

And let me tell you,
It's not a little bit of the bed.....
It is always my side of the bed........
It is sometimes a little, uncomfortable...... sometimes I just don't get any sleep at all......

But I wouldn't have it any other way!
