Life is Apples!
I went shopping on the weekend!
Did I already mention that?
Hehe
I think I did!
I had an AWESOME day (just a little reminder)
And armed with a gorgeous wrist pincushion my very clever Mum made.
It was screaming out to be christened.
I made this....
It is just the sweetest.
Gifted this to me dear Mum.
But have more scraps cut out and ready to go for a cute apple pincushion for me.
Maybe I have mentioned this before and maybe not but I am pincushion MAD at the moment.
I want to hang pincushions from the ceiling and display them on every shelf in my art room.
I have also been pinning pincushions like crazy...
Isn't this just the sweetest

Things Are Happening In Our Neighbourhood!
Before........
After.......
Just so bare.
We are still getting used to it.
The Council has told us new trees will be planted.
I hope so.
The are piles of wood chips all along the street.
But there are still some residents who really don't care!

Cooking Up A Storm!
I picked up this awesome cookbook the other day.
And have been cooking up a storm every since.
This materpiece was a chickpea, mushroom and spinach curry.
De-Lish
And lots of leftovers for me tonight.
And a treat for the boys, Lamb with garlic, cummin and peas.
All full of lots of quinoa goodness!

An Amazing Day!
Little did I know that when I posted this on facebook on Saturday morning,
my day really was going to turn out like this......
I have been desperate to visit a shop called Calico&Ivy for ages......A few loads of washing down and the kitchen sink clean and tidy and I was off.
What an awesome shop, so much colour, so much texture, I was in heaven.
At first I did not know where to start.
And then I did not know where to finish.
An awesome bag of loot and then a delicious lunch to finish.
I can't wait to go back.
